The WPAMesh has an MQTT server to help keep our local mesh robust. Some nodes in our area have opted to use the MQTT server, which helps reduce the hops needed to get messages across as long as the lights are on. Still, our mesh will utilize the LoRa radio to propagate messages anyway, and our routers are placed such that hops over extreme distance (given our geography) are possible. The server is restricted to local use only. If you wish to connect to it you must be part of the WPAMesh and reach out to an administrator for credentials.
