This page shows a running list of nodes recognized as a core part of the WPA mesh. The nodes on this page are distinguished as devices which broaden the mesh reach and add to it’s overall reliability. While all nodes are helpful to the mesh, these ones are officially recognized (and coordinated) by WPA Mesh to be optimally positioned and configured to provide Western Pennsylvania a robust Meshtastic network.
Core Routers
These nodes serve as the primary backbone for the region they cover, often spanning an entire county and bridging connections to other core routers.

Supplementary Nodes
These nodes usually cover a much smaller area and provide otherwise disconnected communities with a connection to a core router.

Gateways
Gateway nodes help very isolated nodes connect to the rest of the network by bridging mesh traffic over our MQTT server. These are often standard nodes who have a good connection to many other nodes in their area.
Other Services
Miscellaneous nodes that host services such as a BBS or bridge to another non-meshtastic network.
